XXVII Congress of the International Society of Biomechanics (ISB2019) and 43rd Annual meeting of the American Society of Biomechanics (ASB2019)
This is the premier scientific conference in biomechanics, convening over 1500 attendees in a combination of invited keynote and other presentations, submitted podium and poster presentations, workshops and tutorials, and satellite meetings. The International Society of Biomechanics convenes biennially, and the American Society of Biomechanics annually. In 2019, the two meetings will be combined into a joint meeting.
The meeting in Calgary, Alberta, Canada, at the TELUS Convention Center. Previously site of ISB 1999 and World Congress of Biomechanics 2002, the venue is conveniently located downtown in walking proximity of local hotels and restaurants. Calgary has close proximity to the Banff, Jasper, Yoho, and Waterton National Parks, and offers numerous possibilities outdoor and recreational activities.
