Organising committee

This workshop will be held fully in person and participation is by invitation only. 

 

In Old Norse, Hólmganga refers to a duel practiced in medieval times as a way to resolve disputes. The format of this workshop draws inspiration from this ancient tradition to fill the week with intense discussions, explore different points of view and see where we “clash”. We hope to find some common ground for the sake of furthering our scientific understanding of the subject at hand.

 

Sessions will be a mix of breakout and plenary discussions, framed under four topics:

  • Jet quenching
  • Particle production & freeze-out
  • Correlations & fluctuations
  • CGC versus Lund strings

Extra information

There is no need to register online for this event. Rooms have already been booked at Elite Hotel Marina Plaza for all participants so there is no need to book your own room. The cost for all meals during the workshop and for accommodation for four nights are covered by the CLASH project.
