Description
Extracting the signal of 3-point statistics is limited to our computational power and processing of data ability. Standard tree algorithms scale as O(N^2 logN), with N the number of sampled objects. Hence, for upcoming photometric surveys, such as the Legacy of Space and Time (LSST), extract 3-pt signals will be prohibitive. We present a method to reduce the computrional complexity to O(N log N), tailored for weak lensing convergence and shear fields.
